I support the use of the correct name for the system. I converted people at
my prior employer to use "System i" and "i5" names and we use the proper
name at my current employer most of the time. I do cringe when I see a
notice to the users that says "AS/400". But, that is what most of the users
know it as and it takes time to "educate" everyone.

What I don't understand is the reference to Google not understanding "system
i" on searches. I did a search and got a bunch of hits. "Results 1 - 10 of
about 182,000,000 for system i. (0.08 seconds) ". I thought maybe it had
something to do with prior searches and tried "system x" and "system z".
Both of these returned large result sets. I don't think I have any Google
settings that make this change behave any different? Could it be that
people haven't tried "system i" recently and now Google "knows" about the
"system i".

Just my 2 cents.
