Aaron's recent travails and then a note from Rob about trying to find
information in the What's New gives me an opportunity to let the list know
about something I ran across pretty much by accident: the IBM Support
Assistant.

This Eclipse-based utility is sort of a front end to all of the IBM
documentation, and it even promises to be a diagnostic aid (although I'm a
little unclear on how that's going to work).

In any case, you can see my latest article on it here:

http://www.mcpressonline.com/ibm/isa-ibm-s-latest-best-kept-secret.html

When you go there, or indeed if you go to the main MC Press website, you'll
see that MC Press completely revamped their presence. The tires are still
being kicked and you can see some roughness around the edges, but I think
you'll like the direction it's going.

Those of you active in the Open Source community may recognize the
underlying software. For those who aren't, I'll leave identifying it as an
exercise <grin>.
