The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

If you're going to maintain a cross reference file between the 'real'
number and the 7 digit 'unique' number, just start counting at
0000001, 0000002, 0000003, etc. Keep a data area with the 'last
used' number so you can continue when you add new employees.
