RE: Daylight savings time
I just had a customer ask me to synchronize his machine with his SNTP
server. I can't find the link I had that gave the instructions. Anybody
got
a link?

Here's the rules.
Spring Forwards,
Fall Back 2 am Sunday November 4

It might be smart to print one of these web sites & stick on employee
bulletin board to remind everyone what weekend this happens, so everyone
can check what all stuff needs to be adjusted. If you are doing business
with customers / vendors in other nations, remember that they are on a
different schedule, thanks to the 2007 US law.
More time zone definitions have been made available since V5R3. In some
cases due to incorrect rules being specified in the initial release, in
other cases due to legislative changes in various geographies.
