What kind of performance have you see from iSeries Access for the Web? I
get
about 60-90 second response time on my 170.

Will do, have 12 disk arms (not the 16 I mentoned previously), serves
some
web pages for students/faculty/learners/alumni, 50 ish or so interactive
green screen users at any one time, 160GB disk in system ASP 45% usage, 4
GB
memory. Hopefully I will get a chance to apply all latest PTF's this week
and ge it installed

Please let us know about the performance. I'd like to see how it works
the P05 and P10 levels. The IBI guy who demo'd to me a few years ago atreceived
COMMON told me that he wouldn't even attempt to get it running on a P05
machine.

Got mine around a week after GA, I'll be putting on our 270 (P20 group)
with
16 disk arms (IIRC), and about 40% DASD usage.
I definitely think I'll blog the whole process.

Well, we've ordered our copy over a month ago and still haven't

the insane hardware requirements.

Well, I don't know how good DB2 Web Query is or isn't, but I won't be
writing about it since there's no developer discount and even on my
low-end
model 515 IBM wants $1000 for it. Heck, that's 10% of the price of
--restsoftware,
of the system! I don't know who is in charge of pricing on the
but that ain't gonna fly here.--
