The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
But other operating systems have had size limitations for a long time.
Windows with FAT32 is restricted to 4GB per file, with NTFS it's much
larger.
Linux needs application with LFS (Large File Support), otherwise
supports ends at 2GB
Netware - I don't know. Maybe someone else knows netwares file size
limits.

Subject: SAVF too large for FTP
We FTP save files to a second AS400 daily. For some reason, one of them
is now failing that had worked previously. I can send it to a NW server.
I am suspecting it is the size. The file is over 15gig in size. Other
smaller ones FTP fine. Is there a FTP size limitation for the AS400?
Any ideas?
Dave
