AW: Date to 8 char in SQL
Hi,
No, there is no easy way to convert a date into a character or numeric
date
without separators with SQL.
But if you are on release V5R3 or higher, you may use the following
statement:
select replace(Char(Current_Date, ISO), '-', '')
from sysibm/sysdummy1

Betreff: Date to 8 char in SQL
I'm trying to get a character representation of the current date in sql. I
can get the date in ISO format, but it has the '-' in it. What is the
easiest way to get the current date in YYYYMMDD format?
