Actually a nice H/A software would do this for you.
Failing that, you could journal the objects in question and analyze the
receivers with a NEP and process accordingly.
There is an exit point on IFS objects that will tell you when they changed
and you could handle accordingly. The original intent of that exit point
was to enable peddlers of virus scanning products to determine if an ifs
object changed and therefore scan it.
No you cannot combine them into a single save file. But with V5R4 you
could combine them into a virtual tape image, which in turn, creates a new
IFS file entry.
