Jerry,
CLRDBFMBR is a function of the OS/400 *NDB (native database) server. I'm quite perplexed myself as to why I can't find many hits on CLRDBFMBR either, as well as many of the other IBM servers and functions that this exit point software package is based upon. For example, the servers *RMTSRV, *RTVOBJINF, *SQLSRV; and the functions DLTDBFOVR, ALCSTRMCNV, EXTRACT, INIT, CREATPKG, DSTPGMCALL, etc.

By the way, I'm a big fan of GOOGLE too, and if GOOGLE doesn't give me hits on something I'm investigating, I tend to question its importance.

Thanks,

Bryan

I am not really familiar with audit logs, but I doubt it would list
CLRDBFMBR if it didn't happen. However, there is no object by that name
in any library (user or system) on my 5.4 system.

My guess, at least the first place that I would look, is run WRKOBJ
OBJ(*ALLUSR/CLRDBFMBR) OBJTYPE(*ALL) and see where the object is.
Probably an application (package?) library.

If it is an object, that is. Would a service program subprocedure be
reported as a "function" by auditing? That's where I'm at a disadvantage.

Anyway, once you track down the location and, perhaps, purpose of
CLRDBFMBR, Bryan, it might help to start clearing up the mystery.

I googled CLRDBFMBR, by the way, and the only hits I got were from this
thread.
