I am not really familiar with audit logs, but I doubt it would list CLRDBFMBR if it didn't happen. However, there is no object by that name in any library (user or system) on my 5.4 system.

My guess, at least the first place that I would look, is run WRKOBJ OBJ(*ALLUSR/CLRDBFMBR) OBJTYPE(*ALL) and see where the object is. Probably an application (package?) library.

If it is an object, that is. Would a service program subprocedure be reported as a "function" by auditing? That's where I'm at a disadvantage.
Anyway, once you track down the location and, perhaps, purpose of CLRDBFMBR, Bryan, it might help to start clearing up the mystery.

I googled CLRDBFMBR, by the way, and the only hits I got were from this thread.

I do mean CLRDBFMBR, at least that's what's in the audit message of our exit point program. An example is shown below.

Subject: CLRDBFMBR authority

I know that I need to be the owner or have *ALL authority to a file in order to do a CLRDBFMBR (as when doing a replace member with the Excel Transfer Data to iSeries plug-in), but I thought that *ALLOBJ special authority in my user profile would work too, but it doesn't. Why is that?
