not to my knowledge but i'm sure some of the folks using QSH can give you
a command that will do that. i seem to recall such a beast...but i
haven't really delved into QSH yet.

Thanks,

Re: Program to read SAV output to IFS or userspace

Thanks Tommy! I learned something. I also notice you can use edtf.
Doesn't work on a user index though. Is there some syntax of the CPY |
COPY command that lets you copy to a printer file?

why not just use:

dspf '/myfolder/myusrspc.usrspc'

that will display the contents of myusrspc in myfolder directory...

Oh, my confusion.

I just tried it to a stream file, and it's not very user-friendly. I
also tried using OUTPUT(*PRINT) which looks like it has all the info
you're asking for. Maybe you could use that instead of a stream file.

Also, TAATOOL has a DSPUSRSPC command.

Peter,

I use the SAV command to save IFS objects to tape. Saving to a savf,

Hi Jim,

Are you saying you use the SAV command to save IFS objects into a user

If you SAV to a normal save file, you can use DSPSAVF *PRINT.

Greetings,

Before I re-invent the wheel, does anyone have a program that they

a

If you would be willing to share, you can send to me personally, but
I
believe it would be better to post the code on

then post the link to the code you shared. That way it will be

Thanks!
