Newer Zebra network controllers can accept FTP. Try sending it a simple text
file (hello world) in an ftp session. If that works, you confirm the printer
and connection is okay. Then you are back to looking at your config.
Here is the text file contents that Zebra has in the manual:
^XA
^F0100,100
^CF0,55^FDZebra Technologies^FS
^XZ
Also, can you print to the zebra from any other device (PC or other
server.)?
If you have other Zebra printers working, this probably won't help, but we
used this to help setup the printers a long time ago:
http://www.barcode-fonts.de/zebra/AS400OutQueue.pdf
Since then, we've started using 'MPS_XXX_PCL' as the remote printer queue. I
don't remember the reason for this.

Subject: Zebra RMTOUTQ Problem
List, I've searched the archive and can't find anything relating to my
specific problem.
We've set up a remote OUTQ to point to a Zebra, the queue's configuration is
the same as we've used elsewhere on other iSeries all of which work fine.
The problem is that we put a spool file into the queue and it goes to SND
then disappears as if printed! First thing I thought was the wrong IP
address so I had the printer turned off did a ping and no response, turned
it back on and the IP pings successfully.
I have tried various *WSCST and even included destination options XAIX and
XAUTOQ even though they may not be necessary but nothing prints.
Any thoughts on further diagnostics?
Thanks
Angus
