Lol. Then you haven't met enough auditors. They will always complain about something.
Last time I destroyed a drive with a gun and used a pic for documentation, they complained I went to the "extreme" to prove my point. I still got a "minor" point on the audit.

will you give your auditor as evidence that the drive(s) in question
were destroyed?

I've been waiting for http://www.deadondemand.com/ to add SCSI support
to the digital shredder.
