Understood. This is an open payables list with an 'as of' date option.
DKOPNAPD is our open payables detail, APHIST is paid payables (is paid
payables an oxymoron?).
If an open payables list is requested with *CURRENT date, the live open
payables file (DKOPNAPD) is used instead of creating a workfile that's an
absolute duplicate. If a date in the past is requested, then this work file
is needed. Both open payables and paid payables (APHIST) records that were
received prior to this date are retrieved.
It just made sense to me in the latter instance for the format of this work
file to match DKOPNAPD. The listing program is RPG and therefore no level
checks.
