RE: V5R4M5? was Re: 520 rack mount

In the briefings I have attended there as been no mention of restrictions
to the Hot Spare. It is a LIC function, not controller function. I have a
slide from Sue Bakers presentation that shows the 800 with a 5xxx model
disk controller ( has to have cache on it ) can support Hot Spare.

Now there are some operational things like has to be on the Same Raid Card
as the set it's a spare for. The slide ref's a Infocenter section on Hot
Spare, but it doesn't appear to be posted yet.
