Just curious, David, but has anyone turned down the package because features were not there that could only be available if you supported a higher release level?

Probably a toughie to answer, I know. MKS and utility software is another kind of animal, but for back office and business applications I always insist upon knowing the vendor's release history and perusing the application's code.

And that's not the vendors fault ... minimum target release is, and
should be, driven entirely by the customer. If the customers don't want
to upgrade, and are willing to accept fewer features, then ISV's should
give the customers what they want.
