Good point. Our transfers are few, and most of the them are done using simple
views. Most of the time we have procedures in place that send .CSV files by
email to the requesting user.
The thing I like about the SQL/Query route is that you can do a lot of the
work on the files (especially joining several together) before you get them
into Excel.
