Hi Bob
Have you tried doing a "SysReq 1" (Shift+Esc, 1 at the bottom of the screen)
to start the alternate session for the display? If that works, sign on
using the alternate session and use DSPMSG QSYSOPR to display the QSYSOPR
message queue and answer the message.
Hope it works
Jonathan

I just tried the shift + Esc to reply the job and resume the backup but
still the screen is loced, its not allowing me to type any command.
I tried all the keys on the key board to unlock the screen but noting is
workin....
is there any way to unlock the screen and resume the backup? Any idea??
