I find that I can get much fewer lines of code on the
screen with WDSC, which is one of my biggest frustrations
with WDSC.

Try the Softlanding plugin, and use the iSeries Editing perspective. It
eliminates a lot of the little windows we don't need. It frees up a lot of
screen space.

The iSeries Editing perspective always made me chuckle a little. Nothing
against Mark and the SoftLanding folks; it's great that they provided the
spool plug-ins. But the iSeries Editing perspective is basically the
perspective from my WDSC: Step by Step book, and it's the one I show you how
to create in my video tutorial. And once you learn how to create your own
perspectives or modify existing ones, you'll be that much more productive.

For example, I like to include the Package Explorer view in my Debug
perspective, because it allows me to open new source members while I'm
debugging.
