The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Thanks to all who responded.
Seems the parent company has also changed the AS/400's IP address
yesterday but nothing was re-configured on the AS/400 side.
I got a call this AM saying that internal FTP that has run for years
fell over last night too.

Subject: RE: FTP'ing to external url
When I am doing HTTP communications from the i5 and it isn't resolving
to
the domain it is usually because the DNS on the i5 hasn't been setup.
Type CFGTCP
Take option 12.
My entries look like this (changed to protect the innocent:-)
Domain name server:
Internet address . . . . . . . '111.222.333.44'
'111.222.333.45'
You can get the DNS IP addresses from your network people.

We already do FTP to an internal server with no problem. No ports are
restricted on the AS/400.
