Hi List

I'm currently in the process of getting the HTTP server running on an
iSeries 270 with v5r1 and have hit a problem which is irritating though not
a show stopper.

The server is working enough in that I can get it to serve web pages and
even access some RPG cgi routines, but the trouble comes when I access the
web based configuration pages on port 2001. When I go to port 2001 I am
asked to sign in and am then given the AS400 Tasks page and I can navigate
to the HTTP Server for iSeries page.

The problem, though, is that when I click on the "Configuration and
Administration" option I get an HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden page with the
message "You are not authorized to view this page". This even happens if I
sign in using QSECOFR.

Similarly, if I sign in to a green screen and use the WRKHTTPCFG command, I
can access the default "CONFIG" settings, but *ADMIN gives me error message
HTPA105 (Unable to update server configuration ADMIN.)

I've done loads of searching through the lists and via Google, but while
I've found similar situations I haven't found any solutions to the above.
Some point to checking authorities for QTMHHTTP and QTMHHTTP1 user profiles,
but don't say authorities to what.

Any ideas, suggestions would be gratefully received.

Best regards

Jonathan
