He was asking about the iSeries Access download addin for Excel, which is an extra cost option - your solution is the Microsoft MS Query, which is usually not installed as a part of MS Office but can be. Nice thing about MS Query is, it does not cost extra.

I'm using iSeries Access Data Transfer to download a file from our i5.
The first thing I do with this file is open it in Excel and remove all
rows where the first field has a value of A99.

It seems to me that I must be able to get Data Transfer to not download
anything where the first field = A99, probably by using the 'Select' or
'Where' options under 'Data Options'. Only I can't figure out how to do
it. Can anyone help?
