SFTP client cannot run in an unattended mode with a user and password.
It can run in an unattended mode using encryption keys.

subject: sFTP in batch using password

I've been browsing the archives and have not seen a clear answer to this.
Has anyone been able to demonstrate one way or the other whether the IBM
sFTP implementation in 5733-SC1 (IBM Portable Utilities for i5/OS) can run
in an unattended batch mode, picking up the user name and password from a
script in a manner similar to the regular FTP client?
Cheers,
Lorne
