The SFTP product in the PASE environment will not use a user name/Password. It uses a key exchange for security/authorization. The only SFTP product we were able to find that does the user name /password validation is from Linoma. Has anyone been able to demonstrate one way or the other whether the IBM sFTP implementation in 5733-SC1 (IBM Portable Utilities for i5/OS) can run in an unattended batch mode, picking up the user name and password from a script in a manner similar to the regular FTP client? Cheers, Lorne
