Paul

I think Pete ordered the PTFs through the online ordering system, as well as through Fix Central. He will likely still get the CDs from Boulder through the online ordering system. The 2 systems are independent, AFAIK.

If you got a note with the FTP instructions, you will most likely not
receive any CD's. When I used Rob's trick, the confirmation page stated
that my order would be shipped.

Re: Fix Central issue OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Check that!

I got a confirmation from IBM about the order. Then I got another one.
Then I got a notice that the images were ready to download. Thinking
that IBM had now rigged the CD order to trigger an FTP download, I went
back to the Win2K machine and saw a successful summary page. It was
hidden by the Java Console panel I had been watching for exceptions.
There WERE the same exceptions in the Java console but the OutOfMemory
Exception had NOT been thrown so I am going to assume the OutOfMemory
issue is a JRE 1.5.xx issue (I did see a bug listed for 1.5.xx on Sun's
site)

So, as long as you run 1.4.2.xx of the JRE it appears to work.

I wonder if the CD's will show up as well.

Pete
