Ah, I remember the platform agnostic Domino group in Fort Wayne. One Domino Windows administrator said that he was migrating to iSeries and couldn't wait to get his weekends back. We bought that http://www.etq.com package for the main purpose of completing stuff for our QS/ISO people. They use it for: - Corrective Actions - Document Control - Engineering Change Notices - Training - Audits and Surveys - Calibration - Preventive Maintenance - APQP - Nonconforming material They love it. We've made some modifications. Like the ECN's will run a BPCS bill of material report and stick that spool file in as an "activity" document attached to that ECN. The tailorability of the workflow is outstanding. For instance, the Document Control database. You can set up multiple document types. Like a "form" may have to go through certain levels of approval, but another document, like your employee handbook, may go through a whole different approval process. And the automatic escalations... like if a document is being held up by "Joe" then there's three level of escalations, Joe, Joe and his manager, Joe his manager and his manager's manager. We joke that the 4th level automatically prints out the pink slip. To populate some of their databases, like "In-Contact" and "Material Control" we use LEI (Lotus Enterprise Integrator) to pump data from BPCS into those files. Rob Berendt
