well, yeah, that's what I thought as well, but they were rather sure of
their point of migrating from RPG to XML. They are either smoking something or don't know what they are talking about. The closest would be XSLT - but I doubt even the most fervent of its supporters would describe it as a programming language. It is intended to transform a document from one format to another.
