I was going to jump right in and argue with you. But you have a good point. Why even have QTEMP in your library list if you are going to put it at the end and qualify everything? I mean, if you are going to put OVRDBF MYFILE TOFILE(QTEMP/MYFILE) then QTEMP does not need to be in your library list. That might even be a good practice to get into. If you are using QTEMP to test a preliminary version of a program, prior to everyone else getting it, then maybe your current library should be something else than QGPL and you could put it there? Or, just pull a Turnover and create a test library same name as production library, with a T suffix. And this test library could be higher up in your personal library list. Rob Berendt
