But keep in mind that QTEMP is created for the job and is accessible by that job _regardless_ of whether it's listed in the job's library list. The only reason to place it in the list is so that it gets _searched_ when an object needs to be located and no library is given.
Hi TomA fair point, If all references to QTEMP are fully qualified then there is no point to it being in the library list at all.
The only real way it adds value from a search point of view is if it resides high enough in the library list to short circuit searches for objects that might exist elsewhere in the list.
But as I said in my other email, searching was not the primary reason for having it at the bottom of the list in the case I mentioned.
