The IBM/IRS story is even better and more dollars than most people can even imagine. I believe the IRS is on their 3nd or 4th variation. The last system installed was completely thrown out as unusable. (Unix/Windows/etc) As I recall, IBM was being sued by the "other" guys and of course IBM went right to court after the "other" guys and the money just kept raining. Of course we would want to mention the FAA disaster(on going). Government money is good work if you can get it....
