Rob, With all due respect, I don't think that this is a very high priority for IBM, for a few reasons: 1. The data is already available from QHST, and other sources. (QHST being the easiest.) 2. GO SAVE option 21 you run frequently, RCLSTG you run rarely. 3. RCLSTG has historically been a black hole. You used to have no idea of what's going on, and when. Nor the data area reveals this. With V5R4 they changed the layout of the data area QRCLSTG and show you a pretty screen that says how long each step of the RCLSTG took in the past and an estimate of how long it should take this time. What will it take to get a new data area that captures each step of GO SAVE - "21. Entire system" , store this into a data area, and display a screen similar to the V5R4 RCLSTG screen?
