Subject: GO SAVE - status screen
Many moons ago IBM gave us the nice IPL screen that gives you the status
as the system is firing up. See CHGIPLA DSPSTS(...)
With V5R4 they changed the layout of the data area QRCLSTG and show you
a
pretty screen that says how long each step of the RCLSTG took in the
past
and an estimate of how long it should take this time.
What will it take to get a new data area that captures each step of GO
SAVE - "21. Entire system" , store this into a data area, and display a
screen similar to the V5R4 RCLSTG screen?
