*AUTO/*AUTO - don't force it unless you end up having troubles
negotiating up to 1000/full with the network device.  None of the
systems I've installed with the onboards or 5706 have had any troubles
when connecting to Cisco in *AUTO/*AUTO mode.

On our 520 boxes we will be reconfiguring a 100mb ethernet connection to
some basic unmanaged switches to a gigabit ethernet connection to a
Cisco
6509 and a Cisco 3560G.  Other then the normal config items on the line
description for speed and duplex, are there any other items to be aware
of?
(Or past gotchas experienced by listserv members...)?
