I think people ARE comparing, but they are comparing horse+buggy to 
motorized vehicle. Comparing VW Beetle with New Beetle. Comparing Word for 
DOS 1.0 with MS Office Word 2003.

That is like comparing SEU with WDSc. Both perform the same 'function', but 
one is out of date and not updated any more. The original has much much less 
functionality, but who cares if the old one still runs. The new one is scary 
to the people who have the old one, and cannot get over the wall of 
familiarity to drive the new beetle. Hey it still runs on the same fuel 
(RPG)...
