Include the serial number of the box in your conditions when selecting which
writers to start in your startup program.  If the serial number is that of
your primary box you can ensure all writers are started, otherwise only
start the ones you want on the HA box.

This is a HA box.  And we even have outq's, devices, etc being replicated. 
 It would be bad form to have these devices not automatically start on the 
primary box, which might happen if they got replicated back.
