Hi:

Yes, telnet from a Windows command line does connect via a virtual device
(named QPADEVxxxx). However, the display I get doesn't display underscores
for input capable fields or respond to function keys. The first is a minor
annoyance, the second is anything but minor.

This may work better in newer versions of i5/OS/400 or Windows than the
setup I tested: V5R2 and W2K Pro. Or, there may be something about our
configuration that is unusual. However, the general case is disproved.

David,

I don't know if this will help you or not, but you can telnet to the
iSeries
from a WinDoze command prompt. The session behaves just like any TN5250
session but it is black and white instead of green.

Hello to everyone,

I've only just discovered the command STRPCCMD.
I was looking to see if the reverse was possible.

I am using RPG for CGI in internet explorer and I want to be able to run
a
green screen interactive programme from the browser.
