Sigh. I'd been hoping I could avoid ever really _needing_ to upgrade a bunch of my PCs to WinXP, staying at Win2K until Linux was appropriate on all of my systems and I could dump Windows for good. Now I realize that I'm going to be forced to use WinXP in a couple places no matter what...
...Unless MS makes a clear public statement that it will release patches back to Win2K too. A security fix is one thing; but a DST fix a year from now for a generally out-of-standard-support OS? I can rely on feeling comfortable that the public will demand it, I suppose.
