This one time, at band camp, I put a twinax card in a PC and then hooked up a 21" flat panel to it. Put the PC in extra space in a 42U rack, had a black KB, mouse, and the flat panel sitting on top of one of the sidecars of the system, ran the cables under the floor to the PC. Looked SWEEEEEEET! Only two good uses I can think of that. - If you're really petty about your choice of keyboard or monitor. - You want to access your terminal through remote KVM access.
