Thanks for the suggestion Carel. That's what I'm doing, but instead of everyone having to remember or figure out that to "to stop polling, put a '1' in ##DTAARAX", I want to have a command which is processed by a CL that does that. Then, everyone just remembers STOPPOLL or something like that. My problem is not so much how to control the program, but how to pass really long parameters (32000 A) through the SBMJOB command.
