1) It's been a couple of years and I don't remember the details, but I had to get our Cisco guy to enable ports before VPN from my home would work. Notes taken at the time say: "PC's connected to the Internet behind a firewall will need to have the following protocol/ports open for proper operation: AH Authorization Header Protocol 51 ESP Encapsulated Security Payload Protocol 50 ISAKMP UDP port 500" 2) Have you done this?: Document Title Creating an iSeries NetServer File Share Document Number: 22633407 Functional Area: Host Servers Subfunctional Area: AS/400 NetServer Sub-Subfunctional Area: General OS/400 Release: V4R2M0; V4R3M0; V4R4M0; V4R5M0; V5R1M0; V5R2M0; V5R3M0; V5R3M5; V5R4M0 Product: Operating System/400 - OS/400 BASE (5769SS100) OS/400 BASE (5722SS100) Product Release: N/A http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/f5ed8d76fdf9afb88625680b00020384/0d 0860f6c782cdb786256a0f007c240e?OpenDocument JK <snip>
How to map a network drive. Lately it seems I am getting nothing but simple questions that I can't answer. I looked through the archives but couldn't find anything that I understood. I am connecting to a System i over the Internet with vpn. I would like to map a drive to the ifs. I've tried "Map a network drive" with MS Explore -> Tools -> Map a network drive and couldn't make it work. I tried Ops Navigator and couldn't find a way to map a drive. Of course this is simple but I can't figure it out.
