I have found the 'Locale job attributes (SETJOBATR)' at the user profile
level but am not clear on how to implement the Locale part of the equation.
When I checked it out with IBM it looks like it has to do with COBOL, C or
C++ programs. We are trying to accommodate a Chile environment using
RPG(LE) programs.
Any help in implementing the *DECFMT for individual users or environments
would be appreciated.

Bob, if you set the DECFMT value in the job to 'I' or 'J' for the users
in Chile, any EDTCDE in your display and printer files will
automatically adjust. You can code DECEDIT(*JOBRUN) in the H spec of
your RPGLE programs to get your RPG editing (O specs, %EDITC) to
automatically adjust.

The job's DECFMT may already default to the system QDECFMT value,
depending on how the job descriptions are setup.
