You an use SST to turn off the light - or be sure to remind your CE to do it when they fix the reason it came on. Ours forgets.

We're in the midst of an upgrade to a 520. Our VAR has already alerted us to the fact that the amber fault light will often signal non-urgent faults, and may not turn off when the fault is corrected. He says this is unique to the 520 series, and doesn't appear to occur on other new i5 servers. Ours tends to trigger when an IXS server us brought up then back down to quickly. When it goes out all is well. When the amber light is lit on our 520 it could be something as uninteresting as no power to the console. It stays lit until the FRU is cleared in SST.
