For i5/OS yes but some IBM LPP's work differently. Example you can get MQ of iSeries on a "subcapacity" (processor(s) used) contract. Then you run Tivoli on a non-iSeries server which monitors the MQ usage and reports it back to IBM. -- Doug Hart -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Burns, Bryan Sent: Wednesday, July 26, 2006 2:43 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: i5/OS lic keys for LPARs Do all LPARs on a system use the same i5/OS license keys? We added an LPAR recently and we're getting messages that were in a grace period for the OS programs. Do I just add the same keys that are used on the original system partition?
