*PGM objects when it returns the count.

If that's not what the original poster wants, consider adding the object
type to the WHERE clause:

  SELECT COUNT (*) FROM MYLIB/TEST WHERE ODOBAT='RPGLE' AND ODOBTP='*PGM'
