I'm faced with a need for a temporary working directory in the IFS. The last time I needed a temporary IFS object, I was working in RPG, and simply used the qualified jobname from the program status data structure. But I'm doing this one from C, and I don't see any documented way for C (or anything else other than RPG) to access the PSDS.

Anybody know of a way (i.e., an easier way than calling QUSRPGMI) to get the even just the job number from outside of RPG? Or any other easy way to get a unique name for an IFS object?
