I love the LIKE of query/400, use it a lot.
Regular RPG has SCAN which works similarly.
Important difference is if case sensitivity is involved.


I know this is probably a simple answer to this . .

but in query you can in the where clause with like

Field             Test   Value (Field, Number, 'C
TKPERSON          LIKE   '%4957%'

Is there somthing equivalent to that in SQL?

I think when I used Sequel way back they had 'Contains' for that kind
of search.

Im not finding an answer to this in my SQL book so thought you guys
would know if its possible.
