RE: why was a device varied off? (API?)

If you create QSYSMSG
it gets copies of messages that IBM considers to be serious 
(there's a list of what all in the WORK manual) which 
includes work station addresses varied off for security 
reasons ... we had one last week varied off automatically 


Does QSYSMSG get those messages in _addition_ to going to QSYSOPR?  Or
_instead_ of going to QSYSOPR?  I'd want them both places.
