Anyone have a good link to documentation on setting up a LAN console? I began
looking last night. My new model 520 just arrived. I somehow assumed an Ops
Console cable would be included, but it wasn't. It was nice to get a twinax
cable instead, and if I had a twinax device, I think I'd be home free, but now
I'm considering the LAN console option.

Or, if anyone has an extra twinax console...

Thanks

Nathan

Subject: Re: V5R4 Ops Console

<snip>
I've spent over a week (along with IBM support) trying to get ops console
direct attached to work on V5R4. It fails on both PCs we've tried.

Perhaps the problem is the direct attach vs. LAN console. I have always
found the LAN console to be more stable. M$ cant program a serial
connection for crap, but at least got the IP part right.
