If you are on a system that is not supported by V5R3M5 LIC then DO NOT RESTORE LIC from the backup. After the restore of the rest of the backup re-apply PTFs. _____________________ Kirk Goins CCNA Systems Engineer, Manage Inc. We are hoping to stay with a fairly simple "by the book" (Backup and Recovery Guide) save/restore process in migrating to the new box... what concerns does the need for V5R3M5 LIC introduce? Does it complicate the process very much? -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. ________________________________________________________________________ _____ Scanned by IBM Email Security Management Services powered by MessageLabs.
