And what if it works right after you've got your extra backups and such and fails later during production when you're not prepared with extra backups and time to get it fixed? Sounds like a situation you should avoid... they gave a roadmap for the SPD stuff and provided methods for getting away from it a good while ago now... In the past IBM has used the term 'Not Supported' to mean different things. 'Not Supported' for some features means 'Don't call if it fails' (But the feature usually works fine) and for other features it means 'Vary On Failed' (And the IOP takes a dive with it) I guess one question would be do you need all the features in the FC #5035 or could you survive without them? If you can try the upgrade and have Very good backups AND time to revert back if it fails you may consider giving it a shot.
